The Norbert chair is a patented seating concept with length adjustment and automatic seat tilt, made for the safe mobilisation of patients either in lying and sitting position.
The patient remains in a stable position during any adjustment of the backrest, without any need to reposition during the process. Shearing forces in the patient‘s back area are avoided and the effort of the care staff is reduced through the minimization of repositioning.
An optional height adjustment, independent of the position and according to the chosen equipment option mechanically or electrically, ensures ergonomic work processes. The patient experiences the positive psychological benefit of being “at eye level” with their surroundings.
The viscoelastic, pressure releasing and removable upholstery allows patients to sit for long periods without the risk of complication. You can choose of a wide range of colors. Swivelling armrests allow barrier-free transfer to and from the chair, even from a tilted lying position. This is especially helpful for patients with limited respiratory capacity.
