The Norbert Chair

The Norbert chair is a patented seating concept with length adjustment and automatic seat tilt, made for the safe mobilisation of patients either in lying and sitting position.   The patient remains in a stable position during any adjustment of the backrest, without any need to reposition during the process. Shearing forces in the patient‘s back area are avoided and the effort of the care staff is reduced through the minimization of repositioning.   An optional height adjustment, independent of the position and according to the chosen equipment option mechanically or electrically, ensures ergonomic work processes. The patient experiences the positive psychological benefit of being “at eye level” with their surroundings.
